2012 Arizona Team News.
The 2011-2012 is completed. And many National Dual members have accomplished great things this high school season.
A state title in AZ is starting to bear weight on a national level. With wrestlers like Doltan Brady-World Freestyle Cadet team member and World Championship placer; Robbie Mathers- All American at the Asics Freestyle Nationals; and Alex Bambic- Pan-AM Cadet Champ and Folkstyle Pre-season champ. All AZ State Champions.
This season will prove to be a huge stepping stone for many dual team members like Curt Done, Daniel Cartagena, Blake Monty and many more. Of this group many are AZ state champs or placers. Curt Done, Garrett Ryan, Glenn Farina, Daniel Cartagena, Zach Walton, Travis Matt, Ethan Tursini, and others all placed at the 2012 AZ State Championships.
Too many good wrestlers to mention. But, the action was intense and the final outcomes not surprising with many dual team members on top of the podium. AZ USA Wrestling is taking big steps to insure quality wrestlers are being produced.
Insuring that quality is taking the next step in qualifiing for the AZ National Dual Team now. March 3 marks the date for all Schoolboy, Cadets and Juniors to earn a coveted spot on the AZ Dual Team Roster.
Many considerations will be used in determining the final teams, but, qualifing will earn a lot of weight.
