OUR HISTORY
Our story begins in June 2010. When a small group of schoolboy wrestlers decided and committed to going to Indianapolis, to compete in The Schoolboy National Duals. On short notice they trained. They went giving up 4 weight classes in each match. And, in 5 of those matches they lost by that amount of points, 20 points. In 3 of those matches Zack Walton competed with a pulled hamstring and never gave up. The first match of the second morning, Daniel Cartagena unknowingly broke his wrist while pinning his opponent. With the pain unbearable he defeated 2 more opponents, when trailing late into the matches. He lost two later in the day, with a wrist swollen and taped, that his opponents attacked without mercy. (Later x-rays revealed a brake) Their wins and defeats energized the team to relize they belong there. That all of them would finally leave with a victory. They did. Each wrestler won a match in the 3 day tounement, and realized that every match was within reach, and that with a little more time and training, the things they could have possibly achieved.
The future holds great promise and a clear path for becoming a great wrestler, through the AZ NAtional Dual Team.
