• Upgrade 2025-2026 Folkstyle cards at tournament for $50. 

USA Wrestling Membership (usawmembership.com)   

Gate fee (Suggested – set by host school) for spectators - $5 for adults and $2 for children 5-15 yrs.  Under 5 years old free. State Freestyle and State Greco - $10 for adults and $5 for children 5-15 yrs.  Under 5 years old free.

USA Wrestling policy dictates that ONLY currently registered leadership members are permitted mat side.  Membership can be purchased at USA Wrestling Membership (usawmembership.com) . Only available online - $80 and must complete background check and SafeSport).  You must have this credential to coach on the mat.

If you are 18 or older, or will be turning 18 in 2026, you must complete SafeSport (online) certification in order to purchase an athlete leadership membership.

Girls can choose to wrestle girls only, boys only, or both boys and girls for an additional $5.  Must be specified when purchasing entry by filling out 2 weigh-in cards.

*All weight classes are subject to Madison Block Bracketing based on attendance.
6U athletes who are born between 2020-2021 will be Madison Block Bracketing.
 

Athletes qualified for 2025 National Wrestling Championships at these events:

• National Qualifier held at Red Mountain High School

• Regional events, such as Western Regionals

• Arizona Freestyle State and Greco State Championships
   

To ensure roster accuracy, please do the following immediately:

1. Confirm athlete name and weight class(es) on the roster.

2. If athlete is listed at multiple weights, declare which weight class you will compete at Fargo. This is critical so that we can add qualified athletes to open spots in that weight.

3. Those who qualified at the National Qualifier should be current with their Fargo fees.

4. For those who qualified at specified events after the National Qualifier at Red Mountain, need to immediately pay the $900.00 fees, this DOES NOT include airfare. It is imperative you do this as soon as possible. If you do not begin making Fargo payments by June 6th, your spot will be forfeit and given to the next qualified athlete. 

5. Report any spelling errors, weight class declarations, omissions, or incorrect information to both Jake Allen at jallen@qcusd.org and Leticia VSmith at leticiavsmith@gmail.com.
    

Once the roster is finalized, detailed information will be provided regarding travel and gear.

The National Team practices are as follows:

Dates: May 29-31, June 12-14 and June 26-28

Location: Sierra Linda High School 3434 S. 67th Ave. Phoenix 85043 (Main gym. Six (6) mats)

Clinicians: Josh Kramer, Tristan Moran, Zander Wick, and Brandon Courtney. 

Thursday and Friday practices: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, 1 hr lunch. (Lunch/snacks not provided)

Saturdays practices: 10:00am to 12:00 pm only. No lunch break.

Dear Wrestlers, Coaches, and Parents,

This national qualifier will recognize the top three wrestlers from each weight class. These wrestlers will earn a spot on Team Arizona to compete at the 2025 16U & 18U (Junior) National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota.

Qualification & Trip Package Details

If a wrestler qualifies for Fargo through this event, their trip package fee will include:
✔ Flights
✔ Training camps
✔ Hotel accommodations
✔ Tournament registration
✔ Ground transportation
✔ Team gear package

If a wrestler did not compete or qualify at the Red Mountain National Qualifier, they can still qualify through:

• Western Regionals

• Freestyle & Greco State

• Other regional tournaments (e.g., Southern Plains)

However, wrestlers qualifying through these alternate events will not receive a plane ticket as part of their package and will need to arrange their own travel to Fargo.

Next Steps: Registration & Payment

To officially secure your spot on Team Arizona, you must:

1. Verify your qualification – You must have placed top 3 in the March 1, 2025, National Qualifier or another approved qualifying event.

2. Complete the registration form from google – This ensures we have your contact information, athlete sizes, and additional required details.

3. Submit your deposit and payments through AZUSA Website – The full Fargo payment can be made in one payment or through a seven-installment plan over the next few months.

   • A $100 deposit is required and is non-refundable.
